I think most of us have seen this classic movie that combined both laughter and tears. Did you walk out of the theater starting your own "bucket list?" Maybe the younger generation enjoyed the movie but thought nothing about beginning their list. NOW, for us older ones I think our minds were really starting to put some though into what we really want to do and accomplish in our remaining lifetime. We aren't limited to 5,10, 15 or more items for our list, but basically it comes down to what will make us feel fullfilled. I know I have began my list and my husband put a few things on the list that weren't actually mine, but they are finished (thank goodness!)ie: going into a cave, under the water 200' in a submarine (almost didn't make that one-very claustaphobic). I have marked off zip lining, swimming with the dolphins, surfing again and all were amazing.
Yours might be volunteering with an organization that you feel is important, re-connecting with family members, climbing a mountain, traveling somewhere that you thought you would never be able to go. Whatever is on your "Bucket List," dont let time pass you by and think "I wish I would have done that." Thank God for everyday that we can spend with loved ones, for our health, the country that we live in, fresh water to drink, the food available to us-no matter how much or how little, be thankful. Let's see, I only have about 45 left!
