TRAVEL INSURANCE

No photos today or exciting destinations-just some really important information. Travel insurance-please purchase it! Today alone I had 2 different situations. 2 ladies in Cancun trying to get back to Chicago with the huge blizzard going on. They didn't purchase insurance as "we are going for sure." Well, they went but all flights were cancelled. Without their insurance they have to pay $179 a night for their hotel. Second client-family of 8 in Maui trying to get back to Chicago (same storm) and their flight was cancelled. They all purchased the travel insurance, got their connecting flight to Oahu where I got them a condo for the night with their transfers and their insurance will pay them $100 per person a day for food and hotel (by the way 4 of them are in a 1 bedroom condo at $160 per night for all 4-not per person in a room, so you see how the insurance helped protect them in this situation. The airlines won't take care of your hotel-just re-book you on the next flight. Need I say more? There will be some exciting island ventures coming up soon.
