This should be a great year for travel. Baby boomers are hitting the retirement age and they love traveling-anything from cruising, soft adventures, eco adventures and just a relaxing spa getaway.
There were a few items that were placed on the internet for this year that will become obsolete in 2011; VHS tapes, handwritten letters (now done with emails and texts), watches (we can tell time on our cell phones) and travel agents. Well, I strongly disagree with the last one. I recently heard from a lady who spent over 5 hours just to book a short 5 day cruise with no airfare. She said it was time consuming, was horrible to try to make a decision and had a headache after it was done. She stated if she had known I was a travel agent she would have easily let me do it for her.
