Sandals St. Lucia ( Sandals LaToc, Grande and Halcyon)

We are just returning from one week at Sandals LaToc and while there visiting Sandals Halcyon and Grande (by the way you can use all three properties while there, giving you more restaurant, activity choices AND they offer free shuttles).

I must begin by saying the staff at all 3 resorts were amazing.  I didn't come across one person that didn't seem not happy to be there.  From the moment we stepped out of the van from the airport, Victor at the front desk was amazing, Michael was a charmer, Pearl, awesome doesn't explain this caring, classy wonderful lady, and "my son" Shervon, the breakfast cook-what a cutie!.

We visited most restaurants at La Toc and a few at the other 2 resorts and not 1 complaint.  La Toc French restaurant with the white glove service was exceptional, La Toc great menu choice, Armandos (Italian) with eh excellent hillside ocean view (go at sunset), Neptunes on the beach for lunch or dinner.  The over to Halcyon for dinner at the over the water restaurant at Kellys dockside and then Grande for their beach party. Unfortunately, mother nature decided to rain so they moved inside-what an excellent buffet they had and the fire dancers after were amazing.  Arriving the first night at La Toc was their Friday night street party-what a great time; good local food and entertainment-it was a great beginning to our vacation.

We had a 1 bedroom  with a private plunge pool and I must say it was amazing and the pool was used first thing in the morning and ended the evening as well.  If a butler room category isn't in your budget, I would recommend renting a beach side cabana for the day at $90.  You get a personal assistant that brings your ice chest of water, champagne or anything else you would like and then a lunch menu and will serve you without you having to move.  In between a short stroll to the beach for a swim or if not feeling energetic,  close your curtains, read a book or take a snooze.

The activities are many at all 3 resorts, but if you feel you want more "excitement", then head into Island Routes (right in the lobby) and schedule a tour; whether it be a hike to the Pitons, a horseback ride, sunset catamaran cruise or even a day trip over to Martinique-there is always plenty to do.  If you are a certified diver, why wouldn't you go to Sandals, with their great Newton dive boats and you can do 2 tank dives FREE daily; come back to a great lunch or dinner and do it again the next day.

The newly added fire pits were a great addition to the 3 resorts-great place for a glass of wine after dinner, visiting with friends or just a romantic end to a perfect day.  If a destination wedding is in the future, I would recommend any of the Sandals properties as the choices of gazebos, on the beach ceremonies are so beautiful.  We were able to experience 2 weddings while there.

So, what's holding you back-many Sandals properties to head to on many different islands and as Island Routes would say "Live Funner"!!
