I usually don't place clients reviews in my blog, but I really enjoy this couple and working with them. They wanted either Aruba or St. Thomas for their second anniversary after honeymooning in Hawaii. Since they are on the East Coast (or close) they are lucky with their many Caribbean choices. After reassuring them that St. Thomas would be a great choice they trusted my choice for them. Trip Advisor doesn't always give the best reviews and that is what was making them hesitant. Please enjoy their review of Marriott Frenchman's Reef and Morning Star Resort. They are the same resort with the Morning Star being beachfront and a little more upscale and romantic.
"First of all, we have NO IDEA what people were saying about the Marriott. We both agreed that we made the right choice to stay on the Morning Star side. The Reef was absolutely beautiful as well, but we loved the privacy/quietness the Morning Star offered. They had our room set aside for us and it was the best one without a doubt. The view was amazing!!! Loved the size of the balcony and that we literally walked right down the stars to the beach.
The food prices are a little expensive as we knew it would be, but on the positive side ALL the food was delicious and good portion sizes. The resort had many options so we ended up eating all the nights there. Our favorite was the Havana Blue (most $$$ and saved it for our anniversary)...Just beautiful and peaceful. Coco Joe's on the beach has a great buffet on Wednesdays nights and it was great as well. We enjoyed our coffee and muffins in the morning on our balcony!!
We took your advice and went to St. John for an entire day for some hiking and found our way to Honeymoon beach and were amazed at the beauty of the water, walking around the sugar mills, Cinnamon Bay and then to town for a YUMMY lunch. It was a great way to spend the second year as Mr and Mrs.
