Clients are asking should we do an all inclusive or not. This is such a personal choice and both offer great deals. Since most all inclusives are in the Caribbean/Mexico they offer great packages with all your meals, drinks (both alcohol and non-alcohol), all taxes, tips and non-motorized water sports. The all inclusives come across as more expensive occasionally, but when you think that you have NO other expenses then they are great packages. You will have to pay for shopping, spa treatments and tours. If you choose a Sandals, Couples or other high end resorts some tours are included; horseback riding, catamaran sunset cruises, all your diving including lessons (and then you can get certified as well) and even golf. I personally don't think there is a downside to these properties as you have anywhere from 3-10 restaurants to choose from; butler service and so on.
For the EP plan (no meals included) you will get some really nice high end hotels, especially on some of the less frequented Caribbean Islands. They do offer breakfasts alot of times and also resort credits so they are not to be dismissed. You can also get very inexpensive hotels as well depending on what you are looking for. These hotels alot of the times will also offer free non-motorized water sports and other activities.
Again, it is a personal choice and you have to weigh all factors in what you exactly are looking for in your vacation. There are plans for everyone.
